SeeU is an innovative mirror attachment system for interviews. It allows interviewees to look directly into the camera while maintaining eye contact with the interviewer. The image is horizontally mirrored. This creates a wide-through area, perfect for natural interactions between people in front and behind the camera. In addition to interviews, SeeU enables actors to interact with their counterparts in emotional close-ups.
The gaze direction can be adjusted flexibly – from direct eye contact with the camera to any desired angle. No more staring at marks in the matte box! Two different focal lengths can be used from exactly the same perspective, without parallax errors. Furthermore, a monitor or tablet can be placed within the sight range. This allows SeeU to function as a teleprompter or facilitate interaction with crew members while speaking directly into the camera.
Adaptive Flags for Reflection-Free Visibility – Even with Wide-Angle Lenses!
Specially developed shields ensure clear visibility without distracting reflections. Depending on the lens used, SeeU can be used with wide-angle lenses starting at 18-20 mm (S35, 16:9) as well as with longer focal lengths.
